McCulloch agrees deal 'in Principle'

Lee McCullochs representative Mick McGuire has confirmed that a new deal for the powerful Scot has been agreed 'in Principle' and that everything should be signed within the next few days.
Wigan boss Paul Jewell is a big fan of the versatile midfielder and is looking to tie him down to a new long-term deal, after McCulloch was linked with a moveto Aston Villa over ths summer.

The Scottish international has been in talks over an extension to his current contract for some time and it looks like a deal has been agreed.

Mick McGuire said: "A deal between Lee andWigan has been agreed in principle."

"Talks havegone well and i expect everything to be completed in the next few days." Speaking to Sky Sports, he added: "Lee is very happy at Wigan and is looking forward to the new season."
