| Stadium, with another potential suitor, Spanish club Espanyol seemingly out of the running for his signature.
AZ spokeperson Van Leeuwen said:"We have reached an agreement with Wigan, and they are the only club we have reached an agreement with."
"It is up to Denny, although he has definetly mentioned he is willing to go to Wigan."
Wigan agreed a fee with Landzaats club last week, and Jewell is hoping the 30-year-old will become his fifth signing of a busy summer, after revealing he has been in contact with Landzaat on numerous occasions since agreeing the fee.
"Denny's been on holiday in Italy. The deal's been agreed and hopefully, he's just coming over to sign it. But you never knowwith transfers." He added: "Until the player signs on the dotted line you can't ever be certain it's going to happen, which is why we normally like to keep negotiations behind closed doors before everything is finalised."
If he does sign, Jewell believes Landzaat will be "an extremely exciting signing."
