| Wigan boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that he has made two fresh offers for new palyers, and is hopefull of signing both of them, as well as Landzaat, by the end of the week. |
Ideally, Jewell would like to tie up all three signings so they can join up with the rest of the squad In Austria next week for the pre-season tour.
he said: "Ideally, every manager in the Premiership will tell you that he wants two palyers in every position so that competition for places is as it should be. We've still got a relatively small squad here. They're in fantastic shape and they've come back raring to go."
"We need to bring in some new players, that's for sure. Our achievements las season mean that we've gone up a level of palyer, we're now competing with the teams who finished around us in the table."
